Dark Prawn Tube 1.5 x 5 cm Hobby

The Prawn Tube Hobby in its dark version is a terracotta refuge tube designed to provide shrimp with a secure and discreet retreat area. Its dark shade creates a reassuring environment, particularly appreciated during molting and resting phases.

Description

Made of terracotta, this tube is an ideal natural support for invertebrates. Its surface promotes the development of biofilm, a source of micro-food, while ensuring excellent stability at the bottom of the aquarium.

Main Features

Product type: shrimp refuge tube.

Material: terracotta.

Dimensions: 1.5 x 5 cm.

Color: dark.

Benefits and Usage

The dark Prawn Tube offers an ideal hiding place for shrimp during sensitive periods such as molting or breeding. It helps reduce stress and improve survival, especially in a community aquarium.

It can be used alone or combined with other refuges to increase the available retreat areas.

Installation Tips

Place the tube directly on the substrate or partially integrate it into the decor. Installing it in a calm area of the aquarium is recommended to maximize its effectiveness.

Rinse the tube with clear water before first use to remove any manufacturing residues.
